Van Esch was founded 50 years ago, and we are celebrating this with the HJW coat stand. An ode to van Esch founder Hendricus Johannes Wilhelmus van Esch (1928 – 2020), also known as HJW. Christoph Seyferth designed this highly practical coat rack for the home and for the office. At eye level it shows a beautifully designed part made of ash wood. For the design of Tree Hooked, designers Alissia Melka-Teichroew and Jan Habraken were inspired by a flower pattern they had seen on a wall somewhere during a trip through Europe. By mounting the laser-cut hooks alongside one another on the wall, some very attractive effects can be created. Tree Hooked is available in various colours.

The designs of British designer James Irvine have, without exception, a powerful look. Sometimes this arises from their specific form, other times from their simplicity. This is the case with Quattro and Sei, wall coat racks with two or three double hooks, made of black, white or metallic grey epoxy coated steel.
